Sales Representative

Job Description

• Generating leads
• Meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Negotiating all contracts with prospective distributors and wholesalers
• Helping to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective distributors and wholesalers
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing team
• Understanding and promoting company products
• Ensuring deposits and balance of payment from clients to company
• Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
• This position is a virtual and field sales position; you will work from a home office to make contacts and visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs, or promote and sell products
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and statistics within the CRM
• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability

Non-Essential Functions:
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, seminars and trade shows.

• Proven 3 years’ work experience as a sales representative in the food industry
• Quality customer service skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Knowledge of business principles
• Proficient in English language and language of assigned country would be an asset
• Rejection tolerance
• Competitive nature
• A High School Diploma/GED is required, but a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is preferred
• Ability to work from home
• You will use a mixture of Phone/Slack/WhatsApp/Skype/Google Hangout/email & case management to communicate and provide updates to all
• Trustworthy, honest, respectful, and flexible
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Works successfully without requiring close supervision as well as in a virtual group

• Work in your home office environment or travel via vehicle
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk 30% of the time, stand 30% of the time and sit 40% of the time
• Position requires travelling
• The employee will occasionally lift and or carry up to 25 lbs
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus
• The employee must be able to use fingers to constantly operate a computer or other type of communication equipment
• The employee in this position must be able to regularly walk
• The employee must be able to use hands to handle and feel
• The employee must be able to reach with both hands and arms
• The employee may occasionally be required to crouch
• Able to travel via car or airplane
• Able to carry and set up displays for food shows
• Able and willing to work occasional weekends as territory and business needs dictate

Employee will be required to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week or as many hours as it may take to perform above job duties. Schedule may vary based on business demands and will require a combination of office hours as well as work performed after hours and/or weekends.


We are a food production company that has staff in the USA, United Kingdom, the Caribbean, and several countries in Europe. We currently produce marinades, sauces, dry seasonings, granules, frozen foods and drinks, influenced by Latin and Caribbean Flavors.
