As part of its expansion plans, Motherwell Bridge Industries is seeking to recruit a Sales Executive to identify business opportunities for its Marine and Industrial Engineering Services both locally and overseas.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Executive will be required to liaise with the Management to follow up on opportunities, nurture customer relationships and expand the business further. The selected candidate will support the Operations Managers, liaise with internal and external project stakeholders, and other support functions.

Operating from Malta’s Hal Far Industrial Park, Motherwell Bridge Industries’ Crane Division has installed more than 240 port container cranes worldwide for Finnish partner Konecranes and Italian company OMG. The Marine Division deploys experienced mechanical and electrical personnel to commercial vessels and super yachts for repairs and maintenance. Its Technical Training Division provides training in various engineering disciplines, including fully accredited Welding Certification Programmes.
This position calls for an outgoing person with a flair for sales and a passion for engineering, coupled with a pro-active approach and a business development mindset to identify opportunities.
The ideal candidate must have a sound technical background, preferably within the heavy industry or maritime industry, hold relevant technical qualifications, and demonstrate work experience in a similar sales and commercial role. Excellent written and spoken English, a clean driving licence, and proficiency in use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint are required. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD would be an asset.
