Our client is an international media company who is seeking an exceptional commercial individual to join their team in their Australian operations as Manager, Sales Strategy & Finance.
Based in Sydney and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team with financial valuations, scenario analysis, and side by side key commercial terms analysis. To be considered for this role, candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic sales analysis and developing/delivering recommendations based on this analysis.
To successful candidate will display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level business managers. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
•Preparing documentation for deal analysis and approval process.
•Participating in the Company’s long range planning and annual budgeting activities.
•Participating in the monthly financial and business reporting.
•Collaborating with regional sales executives and finance team in tracking and forecasting.
•Supporting the Management team with evaluation of new strategic initiatives including creating presentations for senior management.
•Providing research and analysis of macroeconomic trends such as Pay TV penetration, TV Advertising Outlook, programming trends, competitive landscape and new technologies for ad-hoc territory reviews and business development opportunities.
• Preparing documentation for deal analysis and approval process.
•You must be comfortable working in a multi-task, project-driven environment where tight deadlines and multiple demands
•You will be self-motivated, proactive individual capable of working cross functionally as a member of multiple teams as well as independently
•Be collaborative as part of a multi-location international team.
•Hold strong academic track record with a Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree.
•Hold significant experience in business development, strategic planning, or financial analysis experience in the media industry.
•Possess financial modelling, analytical skills and an ability and willingness to work at a high level of detail.
•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
