What is expected of you?
Troubleshoot user issues using a variety of support tools
Assist users with internal and mainstream applications including Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
Carry out Windows Domain Active Directory ad Google Apps for work administration tasks
Follow defined processes in terms of incident logging and ticketing ensuring tasks are completed and resolved within agreed service levels
Track issues with vendors and providers to successful completion
Manage system backups and data recovery operations
Handle workstation, laptop and server operating system patching
Assist with emergency support
What are you expected to bring?
Diploma or equivalent in IT related subjects
Sound knowledge of Windows operating, Networking and TCP/IP, and User Administration
Basic knowledge of Linux server administration, VMware vCentre management and Citrix XenApp
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Flexible in providing occasional on-call out of hours support
