ALM & Solvency Analyst

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ALM & Solvency Analyst to join a multinational manufacturer on the cutting edge of efficiency. Forming part of the Finance Department. This is a full-time role consisting of a 40-hour week.

What is expected of you?

Analyse the performance of the company's investments
Perform monthly regulatory and investment controls
Assist in the Asset Liability Management process
Prepare financial projections (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and assist in the preparation of the Financial Statements
Assist in the reporting requirements under the Insurance Business Act (Solvency II)
Involved in the Solvency calculations for reporting and ad-hoc requirements
Assist in the preparation of Committee material
Assist other departments whenever requested
Other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

What are you expected to bring?

A solid understanding of accounts
A can-do attitude with a curiosity to learn
Full responsibility of assigned tasks
Attention to detail
Microsoft Office skills (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
Proper communication in English
Insurance experience would be consisted an asset
