  • Personal data: Although they are already detailed in the CV, it is important to detail them in the letter, so it is easier, faster and convenient to locate you.

Other tips to keep in mind when writing your cover letter

  • The information in the letter should not be repeated with that of the CV.
  • A good letter of presentation is one where the candidate shows his abilities and what he can contribute, with his experience and training, to the company.
  • Recruiters care more about work experience than training, so it is good to use the cover letter to detail the path traveled between previous work experiences and the position to which we present ourselves. If the candidate does not have enough work experience, it is best to highlight the knowledge and skills that he or she has.
  • In addition to the knowledge and work experiences desired by recruiters, it is also important that the candidate has the right profile for the company's culture. In this case, the cover letter allows you to highlight features of your personality and soft skills that show the employer that you are the most suitable candidate.
  • Be personal, creative and real. Unlike the CV, the cover letter allows you more freedom to be yourself, therefore, we must be careful in the way we write and the words used, as they must reflect our personality.
